ABOUT DR JASON TSUNG
Dr Jason Tsung is a well-regarded, qualified and highly skilled Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in hip, knee and joint replacement surgery conditions. He is a key opinion leader in robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement surgery and educates his peer surgeons on these specialist operative techniques.

After graduating in medicine from the University of Sydney, Dr Tsung completed advanced specialist training in orthopaedic surgery to be admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He undertook sub-specialty fellowship training in hip surgery at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre in Exeter, UK, and hip and knee surgery at the Peninsula Orthopaedics Research Institute in Sydney. He has been practising on the Gold Coast for over a decade and works in public and private health systems.

Dr Tsung is a renowned innovator in his field for using the best technology offers to improve surgical results and best practices in orthopaedic care.
​
Dr Tsung is a committed educator, actively involved in surgeon teaching and clinical research. He has worked as a consultant and teaching faculty member for both trainee and peer surgeons.
​
He has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals such as the Journal of Arthroplasty, ANZ Journal of Surgery, and the Australian Journal of Primary Health. In 2019 Dr Tsung was jointly awarded the distinguished NSW Secretary of Health’s Clinical Innovation Award for the design and implementation of Knee and Hip Arthritis Service for the Northern NSW Local Health District. This project is now under implementation throughout NSW Health.

Find SGCO at the John Flynn Specialist Suites at John Flynn Hospital, five minutes drive from the Gold Coast Airport. ​
Head to the John Flynn Medical Centre, located opposite the pharmacy, take the lifts to level six, turn right and head to the end of the corridor to Suite 601A.
